Re: ECU GameDay Thread

Yep, McMillan didn’t join the team until late August and yesterday was only his 3rd start. And already, just as for Banks as well, our wide receivers have now dropped a number of perfect passes he has thrown that could have been game changers. Yet, we are now 3-0 for McMillan as starting qb. :D Cle...

Re: ECU GameDay Thread

Can't take a joke? That's ok, I got a chuckle, almost as much as I do when you express an opinion. Shouldn't you be enjoying a glorious fall day on campus? Who is obsessed? I just came in from the park with my boys, and am getting ready for the Wave game. You're on a damned Internet bulletin board ...

Re: If you want more fans in the stands

Way back in the summer I asked "what's up with the $50 ECU tickets?" The response was "That's Homecoming." I immediately said "way to try to rape your alumni." How'd that work out, Troy?

Re: ECU GameDay Thread

And I Agree with your observations This is an interesting game. ECU's strengths/weaknesses kind of match up against ours. Good thing they can't run the ball. McM is doing great taking what the D is giving. Looks like the $50 tickets backfired, there's PLENTY of empty seats. Homecoming. That's what ...

Re: ECU GameDay Thread

I think mcm has been accurate and made good decisions (very few mistakes). Playcall has been too conservative. He has had several drops and maybe has thrown it too hard at times (I still put it on the receivers). Keep throwing slants ! Throw some screens! More passes to the TE’s ! These ECU punts h...

ECU’s quarterback is easily the worst I’ve seen in years.
I don't think it's any worse than our QB play. Despite two long TD's, McM is far from accurate.

Re: ECU GameDay Thread

How about Special Teams coach recognizing that the placekicker is punting, and moving our return man up 10 yards? That's twice we've given up 15+ yards of field position because we didn't catch the punt, which took a great ECU bounce both times.

Re: ECU GameDay Thread

4th and one and we can't make a yard! And a horrible play called. Bradwell would have been better under center and pushing the pile. The ECU strength is their D line, which is very highly ranked in tackles for losses. We need to test the perimeter more often, and throw enough to keep them honest. L...

Who is obsessed with whom? I didn't see your post because I have a life and have logged over 20,000 frequent flyer miles the last two months. I will continue to laugh at you and your foolish posts. No, I've been admitting I'm wrong since day 1. You still haven't admitted you were wrong about scheduling Notre Dame, the run/pass ratio, and about 100 other topics. Enjoy the beautiful fall day in New Orleans. This is football weather at it's finest.

Earlier this season I said we didn't have anyone on this defense that could play the Joker position. I want to thank Patrick Johnson for proving me wrong. Crow tasting good. Bam. Hooray!! local now you've seen the delusion D at work. Just admitted again that I was wrong but that defeats his narrative so he won't acknowledge it. He also of course looked over the fact that you started with the insults because again he won't let facts get in the way of his narrative. Ignore the wannabe...

Re: 9th in a row battle today!

I used to attend the VB matches when I lived in the city but since moving it’s become more difficult. I drove over to BR last time we played LSU on the road. Did you know LSU VB matches are free? Besides that they do heavy promotions. Tulane wants a bigger crowd they should follow LSU’s lead. http:...

Hopefully we have a motivated team heating up the field as opposed to cowdicks methane ass blow heating is up!
LOL. Maybe there should be a pep rally at Cowen CIrcle Jerk this weekend. If Scotty passed the hat around he'd probably add more to the endowment than he raised in his reign of error.

Yea. We can take comfort that all that coaching experience can get us to the right answers on the field—just like it did during the Davis, Teevens, Scelfo, Toledo and CJ regimes. No, instead the admin should listen to the posters on this board, whose thoughts about whether or not our coach is a goo...

Re: Wave Wallops USF 41-15

With all due respect, what sader is saying is the absolute truth; I've seen it first hand behind the scenes. All I'll say is that coaches FREQUENTLY and COMMONLY play and start less talented players for a VARIETY of not-talked about reasons. From promises made to the player/family/high school durin...

Re: Wave Wallops USF 41-15

Again, sideline fans know more about the players abilities and weaknesses than those that see them every day and have made a living for 30+ years coaching at the college (although not AAC) level. Yeah, sure, you're right. I know a lot of coaches across many sports and they laugh at statements like t...
