Re: USF Game Day Thread

a couple of big plays at the end of this game made it way closer than it really was. glad the kids battled but this coaching staff is going to make it hard for us to win much. fritz’s offense is truly abysmal. it might work at the high school level but it wont win many games in fbs I can't really f...

Class move by Coach Strong to go to victory formation rather than score a garbage TD to impress the pollsters.

Re: USF Game Day Thread

Teamer was beat badly on the ball he never turned around to find. It should have been flagged, and the announcers praised his coverage! That was a brutal last three minutes of the half for the Wave. Three consecutive big losses, a lousy punt (but a good bounce) then the quick score, followed by two ...

ESPN2 via DirecTV in Boston Childrens Hospital is showing FS1 Yankees-Astros pregame show, and then the game. I have to watch on my laptop, and missed the first quarter.

watching UCF vs Navy...a big tip of the cap the UCF D Lineman who is playing with only one hand...and doing one hell of a good job.... Read about the background of the USF QB. Re: USF Game Day Thread

I'm heading out to Yulman in about an hour myself. Enjoy! Here in Boston, I put on a long sleeve shirt for the first time this fall. Then when I got a few minutes outside, I discovered it's mid/upper 70's! I wonder if the 2 for 1 ticket offer for today puts more fanny's in the seats? Someday we'll ...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

D- not sure where you see people not wanting USF and UCF to remain undefeated unless we pull the upset. It's quite obvious to all that that would be good for the conference. The thread you started earlier in the week, USF Game Thread, takes a turn, lead by Golfnut. It starts discussing these two no...

Tyler Badie. Listed as a 3 star. Any idea if he's as good as his brother? https://twitter.com/showtimeshine5/status/921384094294003714 I'd love it if he was a clone of his brother. Better yet, add 3" and 30 lbs, keep the speed! Sherman has been a solid contributor and always a threat. But I th...

USF Game Day Thread

I don't understand those that don't want USF and UCF going undefeated until they meet in the last game of their regular season. Of course, that is, unless we upset USF today. The better the top teams in the conference are, the better the conference does as a whole. Having them meet undefeated would ...

Re: Arkansas State 47, ULaLa 3

Tough night for Hudspeth and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette squad. LOL That’s a case where a coach missed his chance to continue moving up in his career path. He’s stayed too long at ULL. I was thinking the same thing myself, tps. With a downturn in his success at a mid-major, I doubt any P5...

Re: FIU wins 23-10

And most college teams, even the best ones, have a bad week. Look at Clemson losing to Syracuse as another example. It doesn't mean we're a good team that had a bad week. To me, we're almost a mediocre team that had a bad week. Play like that and any team on our schedule could and should beat us. W...

Re: FIU wins 23-10

The point is, that THIS game, was a DEFINITE win. Period. Has nothing to do with predictions, past teams or performances. We LOST to an inferior talented team. That's a fact. This loss lies solely on this coaching staff. Letdown my ass, this was COACHING!!! This program has struggled now for so man...

Re: FIU wins 23-10

You could tell from the very first series, that Tulane was flat and completely unprepared to play the game. And it was very Teevenistic to only have Hilliard carry the ball 12 times—FIU couldn’t stop him, but our coaching staff sure did. Lastly, it is clear that we have a glaring need for a QB like...

Re: FIU GameDay Thread

We are not a good football team, and really played uninspired tonight in Miami. What a bad performance. Was more fun when I turned sound off and streamed a Radiators show from the UC Quad in 1984.

LOUSY C-USA TV feed. If this is as good as they can provide, no wonder nobody buys it. It's not even full screen, which means it's probably not being broadcast in HD.

Re: FIU GameDay Thread

Houston isn't the same team as a year ago, and I'm sure Montgomery ripped into his team from New Orleans to Tulsa and then some after their performance at Yulman last week. Tulsa is not a good team, but they're not as BAD as they looked last week. Impressive performance by the Wave last week. Hopefu...

Re: FIU GameDay Thread

I paid the $6.95, but it felt a little weird having to select "My Team" and clicking FIU..... made me cringe a bit. I did the same, and was surprised when it brought me to the menu of games anyway! I hope to see our Wave play as well as last week. This team can throw the ball better then ...

Re: Massey Composite Rankings Tulane and the AAC

Not yet. We are getting better but as Fritz himself has said we have a long way to go. Again you don't have just good and bad team categories to lump teams in with. I'd put us at average right now. Do you think we are a good team? I think we're a team that has improved from a bad, if not very bad t...
