"having the ability to get 2 Degrees from Tulane, I feel magnificent here." What a tremendous opportunity all around, even if only one Masters Degree, very optimistic and well spoken young man. Already a win.

So, watching him in High School was pretty cool, we had a pretty good run...Pierre Gaudin then Jordy Hultberg and then Darryl Moreau. some good players on St Charles.

Re: Miss State Baseball Recruiting

I would like to point out that not for nothing does MSU have a huge stadium, a strong following, something called the "Palmeiro Center" well over 10,000 seat stadium (15k?). Conference champs over ten times and dozens of NCAA post season appearances. It's not like Mr AC drew them in all on his own. ...

Lost 49-25 in the Dome in 2007. Lost 56-7 in Tulsa in 2008.
Their Offensive Coordinator was Gus Malzhan. which makes sense, closes the loop in some way.

Re: Happy Anniversary Tulane Athletics

Probably the darkest day we ever faced in the Tulane Athletic front. I held a sign and protested in front of Gibson Hall! Thank God that there was a "leak" or we would be dead. It severely crippled Athletics and was the beginning of the disdain for Cowan...Dickson would prevail but he quickly becom...

Regarding how long it took to turn the ship.... Wasn't it several months into Prez Fitts when the disclosure of he "Oh we're losing 20 million a year" or something similar. Probably had him busy and made moves we'll never know about, unless there is an "Arts And Sciences" board to discuss this on. a...

Re: Tulane's New AD - Troy Dannen from UNI

can we have Admins "disect " the non Dannen comments into another new thread with a title of your choice. it would be good to keep this TD related. Not saying to delete comments, just have them in a better place. Tulane Fans are enthusiastic.

Much thanks

Re: On a score of 1-10 how satisfied are you with Dannen's hire?

Two part answer: The hiring process was just sublime in the way it head faked just about everyone out of our collective jocks. A complete lid was on this and that shows a measure of professional discipline. [Maybe the lawyer in Fitts.] Zero people predicted this. So a 10 there. I like the youth and ...
