Re: How Many Regular Season Games Will Tulane Win?

Wake -W Nicholls -W @UAB -W @Ohio St. -L Memphis -L @Cincy -L SMU -W @Tulsa -W @USF -L ECU -W @Houston -L Navy -W 7-5. Wake and UAB will tell us everything we need to know. Nicholls, ECU, Tulsa are the only ones I feel super confident about. Wake, UAB, Cincy, SMU, USF, Navy are all tossups. so anywh...

Re: Future OOC Games

99% of my friend are LSU fans. They have absolutely zero interest in playing us in football and it has nothing to do with the possibility of losing to us. It’s getting extremely expensive and time consuming to go to LSU games in Baton Rouge and the only thing that moves the needle for them is SEC g...

This makes the news a little less exciting.... https://twitter.com/Brett_McMurphy/status/1009475582596386818 Still averaging almost 2 p5s a year for the next decade is gooooood. Re: Future OOC Games

OSU has the elite players that could physically put a heavy toll on ours that could carry over. Wake and GT are just well coached teams that would not do the same. It'sthe type of schedule that we need. As much as we want to talk our conference up it still doesn't have teams that excite many fans. ...

Re: Future OOC Games

I know Dannen got a nice payout from the Ohio St. game but as a fan I kind of wish we were still playing Georgia Tech in that slot this year. Having the chance to go into conference play undefeated over 2 p5s would catapault the program! I do remember Dannen saying they tried to make it work with OS...

2023
09/09 - Ole Miss
09/16 - at Southern Miss
10/07 - Mississippi State

Add Alcorn/Jax St, run the table Tulane can fashion a "kings of Mississippi" trophy.

7 home games would be nice too

Re: Transfer

I found Canteen's lone TD catch. It's at 8:15 mark of this video. OSU was blowing Michigan out but still impressive for a freshman to see the field in such a big game. Solid focus making the catch and getting his foot in.

Hopefully Fritz can get him involved. He has 7 receptions in 3 starts over 3 years. Was rated a 4 star out of HS.

Re: Wake's QB Suspended

First 3 games for Wake are us, Towson, and home to BC. Hopefully they can win that BC game and continue on to have a good year in the ACC. Win against Wake would be a real statement, but only if they have a decent season.

Re: AAC Attempts at Power Status

Getting to the 8-12 range would be huge. Also not getting locked into a long deal will be important. We've long heard that Facebook/Amazon/Twitter/Netflix/ETC are coming to disrupt the sports market. The way AAC becomes p6 is by figuring out what the winning horse looks like and jumping on early. Th...

AJ Lawson visiting Tulane. Number 4 player in Canada. 6'6 185 SG. Name dropped Dunleavy. Currently favored to go to South Carolina but he's still visiting us, SMU, Oregon, and Creighton. Would be massive to get him for 2018. He's a 4 star on Rivals. http://www.zagsblog.com/2018/06/10/canadian-star-a...

Cincy has a lot of talent that should be starting to blossom. .... they beat us last year in Fickell's first year with a garbage roster.....at home..... 38% is generous Memphis is returning almost everything but QB and RB.....most importantly Norvell is back....they might be beatable but 40% is too...

2018 O Line Ranked "Elite"

3. Tulane: A relatively unknown group turns into one of the most experienced in the conference, and it comes at a great time. Tulane is considered a dark horse to win the conference, and they’ve got the pieces in place up front to dominate. The anchor is right tackle John Leglue, and the Green Wave...

"The Coaches were showing me some love" That's what recruiting has become. It really is nauseating the mentality of kids these days. Re: Football Recruiting -- 2019

Pretty much the same timing as last years first recruit, Juan Monjarress on May 23. Monjarres was a big bang to start the cycle, Spears by contrast seems underwhelming. Interesting note is that Spears QB teammate is TJ Finley, 4/5 star 6'6 QB. Offers from LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, etc. Expected to...

Re: Tulane Football Camp end of May

We can thank Ed Orgeron for his participation in our camp. They'll be kids coming in far and wide that otherwise would not have. I hope LSU football prospers under their current staff who sees value in directing talent (particularly in-state), towards us rather than their SEC and Big 12 rivals. Let...
