Re: Temple lost their coach

Greg Schiano rumored to be a top candidate. Could be a great fit. I mean winning 5 bowls at Rutgers is quite the achievement.

Crazy to think Temple has had 3 coaches poached in 7 years! If Temple can create that kind of environment for success surely we can too.

Re: Next AAC TV Deal Could Greatly Affect Tulane

https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2018/12/10/Colleges/AAC.aspx This is another good story that the sbnation article is based on. Others have said the next AAC deal would be closer to the $9-12m range with a GOR. Is there anyway we would look at giving Tulsa the boot ? Tulsa footbal...

When you look across the rest of the league results today, Tulane sticks out like a sore thumb. We need to find a new coach ASAP just to avoid being kicked out.

Re: Tulane VB in the NIVC Elite 8

Seems to me the problem is a lack of targeted marketing. College volleyball is never gonna be super mainstream, maybe in other countries but not in the US South. But it does seem like targeting HS/Youth Volleyball would get better attendance. Seeing more focused marketing/outreach would make me feel...

I wouldn’t mind seeing Hunter take over for Dunleavy after this year. To be honest he’s probably already got better offers.

2018 was ranked 16th toughest schedule in America if I remember right. 2019 looks to be top-40 and in practically a more treacherous one.

Re: Navy GameDay Thread

6-6 baby! Let's hope we get a bowl!

This team could've easily been 9-3 (wake, uab, smu) or 3-9 (tulsa, ecu, navy). The fact that we pulled through to get to 6 shows me we're improving and taking care of business.

Time to celebrate!!!! (And pray to the football gods)

UTSA is winless while UC-Irvine is undefeated with a road win against A&M. Our RPI thanks us for pulling that game out!

Re: Sun Belt Champion Headed to New Orleans Bowl

Tulane needs to be the middle man in all this and secure the Nola Bowl for the AAC #5. Screw the Cure bowl, if we're playing Sun Belt in a bowl better make sure it's their champ.

WF admitted after the UAB game that they had over coached Banks about staying in the pocket. Facts.
Tell him to stay the hell away from McMillan this winter!

Re: USF GameDay Thread

...did we start the wrong QB in week 1? Man, this is going to be one of those "what if" 5-7 seasons where we are so close yet again. Plays like McMillan missing Encalade to start the day makes me feel bad for WF and staff. Then I remember we went into this all important season with Banks and no-one...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I haven't really kept up after the UAB debacle) but the kicking and return game seem lightyears from where we were a couple years ago, actually feel somewhat confident in our ST.

He's an inferior football player, but McMillan actually runs the offense as designed. You really can tell the difference.
The two things that lost us the close games.....

1. Qb didn't want to run the option as scripted
2. WF didn't want to pound the ball with Dauphine/Bradwell

DB Ishmael Burdine, Slidell HS, committed to Mizzou last night. I know Tulane had him on their radar. Mizzou will finish 6-6 or 7-5...the Staff may survive there..... many in Columbia and more importantly, Rolla, Mizzou, wanted them fired after last season LOL why is Rolla relevant to anything? Onl...
