Re: Football Recruiting 2018

Anthony Lewis Jr, 6'4 225lb TE out of Mobile who was high on Tulane for a long while announced today he'll be heading to Troy. This is seriously confusing to me. Guy had offers to play at Harvard, Yale, Miss State, Kentucky, Indiana, Navy, Army. And he picks TROY!?!? For a guy that had his parents v...

Sure is a wild conference this year! Hopefully we can end our Jekyll and Hyde routine sooner rather than later.

Re: Houston Game Thread

Big win. Finally saw some signs of coaching changing up the ball movement on the offensive side to open up the inside game. Really wish this team had scheduled a little better out of conference. Gonna be tough to get NIT without pretty much running the table. Seeing signs of steady improvement are w...

This stinks. Very rare for underclassmen o-line to play at a high level. I generally rate the older a line, the better.

Who all will be coming back now with any experience?

Same old story. Missing deep shots and yet we keep chucking it up. The fact that we're still in this game shows how far UConn has fallen. They've missed some embarrassing shots!

Re: Daniels (QB Commit)

Better question is, what happens to Jalen Hurts?

Only way he makes it to Tulane is with a million dollar check from a non-existent donor.

He would look damned good at USF or Memphis though! I bet if transfers anywhere he ends up at FSU or A&M though.

Yup. We went on little runs in the 2nd half but there wasn't any real energy outside of Frazier until Cornish hit some 3's and then all of a sudden the players were hustling. Too little, too late

I hope this isn't a last minute reach because of McClain transferring. Just posted on Twitter. 6'5", 210 lb pro-style QB? three star, rated .8451 by 247. Currently scheduled to make visits to Rice and W. Ky the next two weeks. Has a ton of offers, including a bunch of Ivys, the best of which a...

Re: Down The Stretch

Seems like the three scholarships left are targeting TE - Brayden Willis LB - Travon King DE - JaQuon Griffin. If we could land those this would be an incredible class. Reading between the lines, if Lindsey Scott signs (and the possibility of landing Kirk Merritt with him), Fritz is prepared to mak...

Best part is we'll have everyone back next year except Reynolds!

This team is starting to put together some impressive wins and set up something special for next year!

Apparently there was a 4 star recruit at yesterdays game too!

I posted this on the AAC forum: If we're playing that game.... 1. 1900, undefeated 5-0 Tulane ran over Ole Miss, LSU, Bama, Millsaps, Southern Athletic Club, outscored opponents 105-0 2. 1925, undefeated 9-0-1, nation's leading scorer, beat Northwestern in Chicago, 6/10 shutouts, outscored opponents...

Difference between real leadership and Tulane circa 98....

Pretty amazing seeing the national talking heads taking up the Knights cause. Le Batard, Bilas, Bianchi, the list keeps growing! Even ESPN having to at least entertain the debate.

And they went 3-5*. (3-6 but do we really count Grambling?)

The teams we play next year went 4-4. It's a more difficult schedule. Still, I feel more confident than coming into this season.
