I was there with my Mom in the south end zone but we didn't go on the field afterward.

I'm not doubting you but isn't the NOLA Bowl contractually tied to C-USA and the Sun Belt?

Re: Angry Wave

My understanding was that the administration wanted it to shoot water on the students after each score but (as usual) attorneys nixed that idea as too much of a legal liability. The fallback position was to have it mist over the students. Maybe the attorneys crushed that as well. Or maybe it was ju...

Good to see we can still beat out Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M Commerce for recruits. I notice you only raise your snide comments when the players other offers fit your narrative. Why no comment from you when we Jason Swann committed? Maybe because he had offers from Mississippi State, Syrac...

Yes. I believe they do for football but baseball and basketball come out for it though.

Hmmm. One of those may be more cause for concern than the other.

My heart says they may take us lightly and we could keep it tight but my brain tells me that with their talent and depth it won't make a difference. Maybe we can keep it close for a while but they'll eventually wear us down.

Re: Benson-LSU End Game

I think Tulane needs a new rival. We haven't played LSU in forever. We don't have room for them until five years from now. It's just not happening on that front. We'd make room. It's kinda weird that Tulane is one of the few teams in CFB that doesn't really have a clear mutual rival. LSU decided th...

LOL at the idea that such a lawsuit could be won. Just like you can't beat City Hall you aren't going to beat the Universities of Texas, Michigan, Florida, etc. The deck is stacked against the G5.

Re: Grambling Game thread

Do HBCU schools play in the FCS playoffs? If so, why did Grambling not play in it last year? MBA, my understanding is that HBCUs don't play in FCS playoffs because HBCUs have their own national championship, which Grambling won last year. The FCS Playoffs start Thanksgiving weekend. Grambling and S...

Re: Lindsey Scott commits to LSU now transferring

So many kids go to the SEC because it's "The SEC" and don't move up the depth chart. You should go where you will get to play so you can develop and get exposure. The NFL will find you. You can play in North Dakota and become the best QB in the draft. True competitors want to compete with...

Re: Lindsey Scott commits to LSU

Is Lindsey Scott even in Tulane's pecking order? We have room for him, he must sit out a year with 3 to play, unless he goes to a Div II school. Time will tell. Tulane recruited him hard. He'd be a great fit here but I doubt he comes this late in the game. I would guess Southern or another SWAC sch...
