Re: Spring Practice-2024
Boy, that Sumrall is so optimistic. Glad we have that attitude trickling down the department as opposed to the old “stick it in your ear and go across the street because losing is okay!”

Re: Next phase college athletes to become employees
A big problem was that the ncaa was just so slow on catching on the realities of life and not reacting quickly. Kind of like our government.

Re: Tennessee and Virginia win NIL lawsuits challenging current restrictions
“Damn the torpedoes—Full speed ahead!” Too bad for Reggie Bush being born a few years earlier than the new age college football. Do we have a Shapiro Sugar Daddy like Miami? Amazing that it took this long to put this poop on top of the table. The academic pencil necks must be nauseous—-Your student ...

Well stated D. I thank Fitz for doing something I never thought would happen at Tulane. Not exactly happy with the attitude/exit of Fitz. But, I do think we’re on a higher plain and can get higher with the changes.

After reading all these responses, I forgot what the topic was about. I guess it’s a lull in the season until we start looking good in baseball or spring practice starts

Re: Potential for two-minute warning coming to CFB
Don’t see much of a problem with the 2 minute warning. But, I like most of the college rules vs the pros. IE the overtime format or the one foot inbound.

Wasn’t Billy Wagner a 5’6” phenom? Don’t know if height gives stamina or the ability to screw up the batter. Either way—good luck WAVE.

He sure gave us something to remember. Wish him the best. As for the Saints, having a glass statue with a crappy Oline I don’t see any improvement and wouldn’t want to see Michael be a sacrificial body with them.

Thanks Golf for the synopsis. It’s like reading that “do you agree” crapola that’s somewhat useless. As for bowl games, this past year was a total disaster in regards to performance It looks like if you don’t make the 12 it’s an ugly dog show
