That’s about the worse Rice ball club I’ve ever seen. They are awful.
We’re a one bid league unless ECU fails in the conference tournament again.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
Just looking forward the roster gets depleted. In Hunter’s own words he said this was his most talented team he’s ever had. Either he’s a poor judge of talent or he’s a poor coach with talent. Either way it’s on him. 5 years without a sniff of even an NIT should be enough to make a change. Obviously...

2-2 for the week. Not going to cut it. You had to wait several weeks to be able to post that insightful statistic. What if the week starts on Fridays and we beat St. Louis on Monday? Then we're 3-1. So the week always refers to games played after the polls come out at noon on Monday. St Louis win o...

When the Houston Texans were deciding on their name and uniforms, one of the options being considered was to name them the Texians with uniforms sporting the colors of red, green, yellow and white. If Bob McNair had gone in that direction, I suspect there would have been a Woke firestorm. West Poin...

Re: Thoughts on a day at the Ladies Basketball Game
Good people Lisa and Allen. They have taken us as far as they can. It’s simply time to find the next coach to move us up a level. A change is necessary if we are serious about winning and drawing fans. Otherwise no change needed. Either/Or.

Bad luck. Now we face the team from Denton Tx 1/2 hour from the tournament we play in so we’re one a done. I bet.winwave wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:55 pm Temple comes thru:

Dartmouth basketball players just voted 13-2 to become a union. So it begins. Landmark decision to change college amateurism forever. https://theathletic.com/5314314/2024/03/05/dartmouth-basketball-union-vote-ncaa/?source=user_shared_article The Dartmouth men’s basketball team on Tuesday voted 13-2...

Re: Tulane Beats Grambling 9-4
The umpiring left a lot to be desired. Grambling SP could have been charged with at least 5 balks and they were very bad with fundamental baseball. We looked tired and I agree it was good to see some of the bench players get time and play well. A hard game to watch. Also, we need a new Play by play...

None of those three teams he mentioned even have a winning record.
He should have just stated that UCI remains unbeaten after this weekend.
We haven’t beaten anyone that would be noteworthy yet.

Re: UNT Beats Hunter inGame 2 80-76
I definitely agree that Hunter needs to go, but this team isn't all that talented. Cross is a forward who wants to be a PG. Not quick enough with his dribble. Inconsistent. Forbes is only a outside shooter, but he's not consistent. Has bad body language and complains slot. Sion is a average player....

This should be a weekend sweep. With all the teams from the North looking for early season games in the South, we’re playing a bad Ivy League team. Actually, we are playing a middle of the pack Ivy League team. I think they were 10-11 in conference last year. There are teams in the Ivy League that ...

One of the greatest fans I’ve been privileged to know was the late Terry Terrebonne. In fact he was so instrumental Tulane named a suite in the old baseball stadium after him.

I agree but last year set a new low bar for our baseball program. Can’t help but be somewhat better after that season.Fifth Quarter Tulane wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 11:22 am Other than last weekend’s abomination we look like an okay baseball team. Seem better in some areas especially pitching.

40 strikeouts for the Wave in 4 games is pretty good. I'd say. 27% of the opposing 144 batters. I'll take that. That is really good, but 10 of the k’s belong to Welch. The other 30 are shared between 12 other pitchers. My point is we need a couple of these 12 to emerge with the hammer pitch. Sure -...

Re: Four ACC expansion candidates to replace Fla. ST.
I read that story and I don't think UConn wants any part of it. They tried getting into a multisport conference with the AAC and they paid to get out. They are a basketball school first, second and third. Being in the Big East has gotten them to a #1 ranking and that's where they want to be. UCONN ...
