So we agree the bar is the lowest in the NCAA thanks to Dickson therefore Dannen should have no problem exceeding Dickson.
We just need 12 years to find out . Enjoy.
You may need 12 years to find out but I won’t. ;)

Re: AD FUNDRAISING

All RD did was travel and at the end of it the money had to come from board members. And again RD was here 18 years. Dannen is on the job less than three so there's no way to compare fundraising abilities at this point. It really can't come as a surprise to anyone who has followed Tulane closely th...

Re: AD FUNDRAISING

Yes donors dry up and die. That’s normal. A good AD should always be traveling raising new money. They have other personnel running day to day things. Many of those donors were “tied to the hip” to Dickson and Cowen (Benson, Glazer, Hertz, Devlin and Yulman as ex.) Yulman had never given before to A...

Re: AD FUNDRAISING

Dick didn't fund raise, Cowen just sold off board seats to get a few big donors to commit. The big time donors have dried out and the programs have not won, so TD can't make anything happen. Can;t say it helps coming from UNI either. Yes and no. It’s very common for large donors be to given a seat....

Re: AD FUNDRAISING

Dickson had failures but fund raising was not one of them. He saved athletics in 2003 and raised $100 million in two years to build Yulman. Not sure what Dannen has done outside of bringing back a 1960’s Angry Wave character. All his coaching hires have been losers. His seat license idea shows his ...

Tulane gives out Off Bug Spray as a gift to all season ticket holders who choose to renew and pay the seat tax during the “Off” weak but most fans decide to just bug off.

You may be a Tulane fan if: You hardly ever win games on the road When you go to a home game, you're the only person wearing your team's colors Sporting goods stores carry none of your team's apparel Your season ticket prices increase even if your W-L record doesn't When you are sent to central loc...

This is fixing to be a disaster. How do you charge fans a seat tax to watch this crap? Go out around the country and raise money. Quit doing this nonsense.

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

Once again Tulane is being deceptive.
They tell you that only 6% of season ticket holders will pay more.
Here’s the reality:
6% of those season ticket accounts buy over 50% of all tickets sold.
They fail at raising new money so once again they get it from its most loyal supporters.

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

I would have to think that a good number of people with season tickets in multiple sports are on this board. Is there ANYONE who can say they're the "average priority seating ticket holder" that's actually going to save the $1000? Anyone? They must really think we’re idiots. Why do it then if it’s ...

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

Once again Tulane finds a way to punish loyalty. I’ll never forgive them for taking away my home plate seats in baseball that now go empty. They should teach a course on how to runoff fans because they are the best in the business at this. I suspect many current season ticket holders will be forced ...

Small private school, modest endowment, few wealthy boosters. Do the math.
It wouldn’t matter. We squandered $100 million on a mini stadium while leaving a billion dollar low rent stadium. But tailgating is great!
