Re: 2024 Football Schedule

It will almost certainly be a night game. I have never once seen a college game on Thanksgiving during the daytime. Ideally, I'd rather play Friday but if we are ranked, people will tune in and attend the game.

Re: 2024 Football Schedule

I I would argue that there is more of a chance of exposure playing on Thanksgiving night. People are watching TV and there are just a few sports options on Thanksgiving evening vs a regular Saturday with games going on all day. Further, the night NFL Thanksgiving game is usually a throw away game.

Can't wait for next season.. Definitely an upgrade. Willie was solid but Sumrall has a higher ceiling.

I only used GB Biden because of how you're forgetful when you post certain things. It wasn't about politics at all. And I will continue to use it when you deserve to get called out. Dude, take your dumb politics elsewhere. Didn't you learn in 2020 that posting ignorance on social Media, doesn't swa...

Re: February NSD Class of 2024

You’ll never convince me that someone is rigorously scouting 4000+ high school football players from around the country, watching all their tape and breaking it down, and assigning consistent rankings according to common criteria. Like anything else there’s a skinny part of the curve with elite tal...

I don't expect Pratt to be a regular NFL starter but would love to see the Saints get him if he drops to the 4th or 5th round.

Re: Sumrall Era Begins

Well said Greenanyway . And for all the fools who feel that Kentucky is a better job and that Coach Sumrall is merely treading water until Kentucky's job comes open you are wrong . We , Tulane , will likely be among the Playoff 12 multiple times while Kentucky languishes in the lower middle of the ...

Re: Sports Illustrated - Go Woke, Go Broke!

I guess Fox News is woke as well. https://sports.yahoo.com/fox-news-layoffs-keep-coming-193319338.html Many Conservatives including myself now hate Fox as they are sellouts to the woke. Viewers switched to other conservative news channels once they canned Tucker. So you jumped off one sinking ship ...

Looks like a good player. Earned Honorable Mention All CUSA. Also, before the 2023 season, Athlon ranked him the #5 best offensive lineman in CUSA.

Re: Sumrall Era Begins

Yeah, I done get the pontificating about Sumrall's next destination. We all know he is likely to leave at some Point but don't get why Debbie Downers want to discuss doom and gloom scenarios right now. There was some dufus on Facebook posting last week about how Kiffin would get Bama job and Ole Mis...

Appreciate the summary of the Kaare segment. Very exciting things in the works. I'm not fond of people referring to Coach Sumrall as CJS. Reminds me of Curtis Johnson and I feel a small dagger piercing my heart.

YOGWF has some good members but I wish they would just come on over here. Their page isn't as bad as it once was but every thread quickly goes completely off topic. We do the same here at times but it's 10x worse there.

Don't know but some of the Twitter sources seem to be hinting that something big is in the works. Hoping we hear something tonight. I'm thinking Williams since he was on campus this weekend. Preston was visiting K State.
