Re: USF Series Thread

USF pitching was horrible. Guy walked 4 straight. In his previous 2 Friday night outings, USF starting pitcher Hunter Mink gave up 10 hits, 5 earned runs, 3 walks while striking out 15 in 17 innings. He got the wins in both conference games.. Last night, he gave up 9 hits, 6 earned runs, 3 walks, s...

Agree. So Slayton subs and K’s twice. Haas, at least, hits…why not him? Forget the analytics!

GRAND SALAMI, TUFT! 4-0 2nd inning, but then someone mouthed off. If it was us, that’s bush league. If it was UAB, that’s bush league. We have no business mouthing off. Hope it wasn’t us, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Too bad because he could have used this weak pitching to break out and get some confidence.

Re: Ashley Langford New WBB Head Coach

Very typical Tulane hire much in the Dannen way! Lmfao dude. Take a chill pill. The response on X has been widely laudatory from those with no connection to the program. Jesus. And, is it accurate that this is the first TU alumnus hire to any major sport coaching position since Bennie Ellender?

Re: UTSA Sweeps Tulane

UTSA was better than I first thought, and we are not as good as well. UTSA actually has better talent than us. We have some glaring deficiencies that other schools have exploited a lot lately. Bottom line, we are young, and the older players have regressed. The catching situation is beyond belief. ...

The feminization and pu$$yfication of football in this case. From theathletic Can you explain to me what outlawing of a particular tackle technique has to do with masculine/feminine traits? And your use of woke in the prior description? Are words losing their meaning? Sissy^? I didn't realize gotul...

So, the answer is to BUNT Marget and you score on the squeeze! How about that. Good win…3-hit a good hitting ball club.

Despite the 8 runs, our pitching (Fladda-Shuffler-Moore) was good. Errors cost us early on. UL helped us later with a couple of late errors by their SS. All in all, we earned this win.

Just a heads up about parking for those going to the game on Saturday. Tulane is hosting the HBCU Legacy Game which is at 3:00. You can pay $8 in advance for a spot in the Diboll lot. There will be no public parking in the Rosen lot available and to get a spot in Diboll will be $25 by credit card o...

A couple of defensive gems saved Nicholls a couple of runs. Schulz threw out the runner at home plate early and saved us a run.

Those are huge in saving and winning games.
