Re: UAB GameDay Thread

At half Banks is 1 for 8 for 44 yards, with 1 interception. A repeat so far of his nightmare performance of last year against FIU. You left out a biggie, sack fumble returned for td... And one more: Banks said UAB was a "lower team." I knew that would come back to bite him (and us). However, he has...

Time to sit Banks.
I would definitely start a new qb to start the 3rd. I'm not taking anything from UAB.... but Tulane just seem like the would rather be elsewhere.
If that's the case, then start Darius Bradwell and bring in Banks to throw.

Re: Nicholls St. Game Day Thread:

The numbers of Tulane fans in attendance was not surprisingly good. Had we played Nicholls 5 years ago, they would have had maybe one-fourth of the crowd they brought tonight. But, they’re enjoying winning. Tonight, however, you could see the difference between these 2 teams. Toss aside those awful ...

Re: UH crushing Arz 24-0 2nd Qtr

Good for the AAC is this holds up. Wake Forest has scored 31 points in the first 20 minutes and lead Towson, 31-14 with over 9 minutes left in the first half. Wake 35pt fav Two punt returns for TDs by Dortsch (60 and 70 yds). Towson moving the ball on them better than we did. Their QB is 20-31. and...

Don't lose this game! Thats all I have to say!
If we play not to lose...we will lose.

I agree with Guerry Smith and hope we’re both right - Georgia and Texas A&M overlooked NSU. Tulane will not overlook NSU.

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

Chase comes from a great family and is determined to get the Colonels going this year. Coach Rebowe (think I read an aritcle of him being one of the few Mormon coaches in college football also), obviously has the kind of work ethic and philo that Fourcade can relate to and carry forward into games....

1- NSU brings more fans than us.
2- Clueless and faithless Tulane students leave with 2:33 left in the first half.
3- Tulane 41, NSU 21.

Re: SMU...Tulsa

And now, ECU is losing to North Carolina A&T, 21-20, in the 4th quarter. AAC needs to grow up fast.

But, ECU drove to kick a FG, 23-20 - still over 9 minutes to play.

And we think we've got it tough, A&T scored again, 28-23 - over 6 minutes left.

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

The win over Kansas was their first ever over an FBS opponent. First win over a P5 and 3rd win over a FBS. They beat Rice and Ark St prior years. Willie Fritz has never beaten a P5. They beat Western Michigan in 2013 and Rice in 2007,, so I stand corrected. However, unless prior to 2006, I don’t se...

Re: Service sucked

5,000 fans at an opening game against a P-5 team we have a decent chance to beat. Also, pre-season talk has been positive about chances for a winning season in addition to having a hyped experienced returning starting QB. Is it just me or is it OK to question the viability of the Tulane football pr...

Great coach they have over there. Congrats to them. Final 26-23. Beats a P5 even though KU is bad. They’re good. We will have our hands full next week. Great coach. Good athletes at skilled positions. Tulane in a no win situation next week. Win and you’re supposed to. Lose and things get ugly reall...
