Re: Khai Prean
You never turn away a top local athlete. That's how you get noticed locally. This guy has tremendous potential And if he catches another 18 passes, or fewer, he will transfer out, which will be a wasted scholarship. There's only 1 football and roughly 65-70 plays/game. Numbers dictate that he won't...

Nothing on earth you can really do in a situation like this. Nightmare scenario for the ship and the harbor authorities. 100k+ ton ship the size of a football field hitting a support. I think few of us can imagine the force of that in practical terms. Hats off to all the first responders doing searc...

Re: JMU vs Tulane (Football)
We play 4 OOC games/year. 2024 will be the first time I can remember playing 2 against a Pee program. We’ve played other SBC teams, why not the best? The risk is losing, and if we don’t want to play them for fear of losing, we’re saying we’re chickenshit. I don’t buy that. We have played other SBC ...

SEC and Big 10 split off this would be a good scenario for the others. https://x.com/membig12/status/1770498340532142459?s=46&t=H08XcY14tY_wg-twtPVS8g We would go back to playing the same teams we've been playing off and on for the last 30 years. Yes. That would be a little better than what we ...

SOLUTION....DROP baseball....take a hint from the list below https://en-academic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/7055677 No reason to drop a sport because we are not good at it. If that were the case we should have dropped football years ago. Might as well drop basketball. drop baseball and the womens titleIX s...

I like that he isn't all "talky talky". Quick and to the point. And if he gets this IPF done this summer, I'm really going to side-eye Dannen and wonder just how much better off we would've been if he actually WORKED while navigating his way to the P2. This, and he didn’t focus on a bunch...

You’ll never convince me that someone is rigorously scouting 4000+ high school football players from around the country, watching all their tape and breaking it down, and assigning consistent rankings according to common criteria. Like anything else there’s a skinny part of the curve with elite tale...

I watched the second practice for a bit, Jackson was pretty good. It just shows how subjective this stuff can be based on the eye of the beholder/analyst. That’s how you get guys like Isaiah Pacheco being drafted in the 7th round.

Re: Tulane Beats #10 Memphis 81-79!
So sad for Memphis. Lose to a team that has no shot at March Madness We’ve beaten Memphis 3 straight a Fogelman. We just seem to have their number and matchup well skill wise. I don’t think they will win the conference this year. Probably NIT bound. They’re still ranked in the top 20. They have a l...

I'm really excited to see Shazz on the field making things happen on game day. How does a player go from the #44 recruit in the country to two years later not having a reception in his college career? No wonder he hit the portal! I'm sure that will end before we reach September. Welcome to Uptown, ...

Watching SMU today was painful. They are not that good offensively, I’m sorry. Willie was not remotely prepared to play that game and it’s so obvious in hindsight.
Ok, now I’m ready to move on. I think.

You don’t actually need a better camera angle to see that the Hokie QB fumbled before breaking the plane, you just need to open your eyes and look at the replay angle you already have.

sportskeeda has proven to be a very very unreliable source. Now Greg Swaim, on the other hand, has been right on some of his realignment predictions, but he's made so many its hard to tell if he's in the know, or just throwing stuff out to see what sticks. To me, the biggest key is the ESPN having ...

Recruiting rankings are dropping with our loses and some of Sumrall signees are not ranked as high. So far, no high 3 star or 4 star players from Sumrall he has to recruit a higher level of student athletes than he did at Troy now that he is in the AAC. That was Coach Fritz mistake recruiting mid t...

I agree, but he's got Mack Brown written all over him. I hope it lasts long enough to get us where we all want to go. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that, when he succeeds here at Tulane he's going to get a very high visibility job that makes UH look like the dog park it is. It might be ju...
