Re: Rick Jones

As soon as Scottie retires fire Rick Dickson,Rick jones,Lisa Stockton and Conroy. Get young aggressive coaches that we expect to get Us to the NCAA tournaments every year. No more $500,000 salaries to Jones or $350,000 to Lisa for taking us nowhere. Both are lazy in recruiting. Do a lower base sala...

Re: My take on the tp article

I am a past donor and will consider coming back when the current "leaders" are gone and I see a real commitment from the top. That's the only way D1 can work. It's like any other business. Invest wisely to succeed and create an atmosphere for success. Playing on a shoestring budget only w...

Re: Poll: timing of retirement

This whole timing thing does give Tulane rhe opportunity to get the right guy/gal in there. Obviously it's going to ultimately impact on the AD job as well. Pretty Standard I think. I'd be much more concerned if he was leaving on 7/1/13. ;) To be honest I'm more concerned that he hasn't left alread...

Re: Jones Got the Old RD Stamp of Approval - Is Coming Back

The sad thing is now ESPN covers the entire Tournament. We were ahead of the curve when it came to NCAA Baseball popularity and we still managed to fall behind. When you really look at it, we should undoubtedly be in a major conference at this point. So many building blocks were in place in the 3 m...

Re: Tulane Dugout

Starters or bench players? Seniors or not? Without mentioning names one Sr. came into the dugout at the end of UAB's AB. He went around pushing players in an attempt to fire them up. One player was caught off guard and didn't know what the push was about and pushed back, words were exchanged and co...

Re: Tulane Dugout

So frustrating being a Tulane fan. Just when the hitting shows some life the pitching takes some hits. Rizzotti is hurt and while he should pitch in the tournament who knows how he'll be and if the back injury flares up again. Byo wasn't sharp last night though he battled through it. He should have...

Thatt does not apply if said student has transferred during thier undergrad career. Im in the car now but I will post that rule tonight. And schools.dont give waivers, the ncaa does Correct on waiver but that's a given if the school gives the player a release like Tulane has. Athletes with eligibil...

Re: So Long Ben Cherry

It's simple. He graduated. His original transfer was done in undergraduate capacity. He's able to go to graduate school wherever he chooses. If that school has a degree program that Tulane doesn't he's immediately eligible. I'm not sure how much more simple I can explain it. yep ... That's it. Russ...
