Re: 2018 Tulane Volleyball season

Where is the volleyball guy? The women are 0-4 in conference on their way to the bottom just like last year. What’s the problem?

Re: New Athletic Director

The problem isn’t the money and it’s also not the academics. Those are problems but not the Problem. The problem is nobody at Tulane knows how to win and understands what it takes to win. Tommy Bowden understood it and Rick Jones understood it. Nobody else has. Instead of hiring ADs from Big Time F...

Re: Perfect Wave Podcast- Why Rich Rod was passed over

Also, did you notice how Cowen completely omitted the 2003 review when he spoke about the future of the football program after 1998. He mentioned the Hawaii Bowl and then said we were going to have our best team since the 1998 season in 2005 but Katrina changed all that. Never mentioned all the dama...

Re: Wake Forest Game Day Thread

Forget the Banks is a draft prospect nonsense. He’s not! Too many blown opportunities in the first half. What the hell was the game plan? Why didn’t we give the ball to our running backs more often early in the game? Why didn’t Dauphine get more touches? One minute to go, game tied, we have the ball...

Re: Wake Forest Score Prediction Thread

Two years ago we lost 7-3 at their place in the first game of the Willie Fritz era. Our quarterbacking was terrible. Two years later we have a fifth year senior starting who steadily improved in this offense last year. Wake is starting a true freshman. The QB should be the difference and it's our ho...

The camp at St Paul’s sounds like Bowden’s version of the Junction Boys. Whatever he did, worked, and everyone survived.

I think I’d rather have the guy with 25 starts and all conference consideration than a guy who played sparingly at Vanderbilt.

Re: Football Recruiting -- 2019

"The Coaches were showing me some love" That's what recruiting has become. It really is nauseating the mentality of kids these days. And if this kid is healthy to have a breakout senior year we know there will be some P5 offers and then the tweet, " I am blessed to receive an offer from Missouri, Ka...

Re: Fritz Contract extension to 2023

Again, at this point, how could Kansas sell Fritz to their boosters? He’s 9-15 at Tulane, and at age 58, has never been affiliated with any P5 school. Only connection is he’s from Kansas. Now if Tulane goes 10-2 this year it’s a different story, but Kansas is more likely to hire a Coach affiliated w...

Re: Kansas fires it’s AD

Not trying to criticize our AD or coaches, but let’s be real. Neither Baseball, basketball and Football have delivered a winning season under this AD and his hires. Good Luck selling that to a P5 school and their fan base. I’m not worried about someone hiring anyone away.

Tulane in NFL draft 2018

My predictions for Tulane guys moving onto the NFL in 2018... Parry Nickerson 5th round pick, if not for issues with his knee he would go higher Ade Aruna 7th round pick, I feel he underachieved at Tulane, NFL coaching might realize his potential Dontrel Hilliard, free agent, he will be a steal! I t...

Too bad. I remember reading how excited he was to go to Tulane and return to his hometown from California. He was the only Conroy signee to stay with his commitment after Conroy was fired. We definitely need a higher level performer at point guard to compete in the AAC.

Re: Spring Practice

The spring prospectus is available on the official website. It's fortunate that the true freshman QB is available for spring practice. At some point Banks will take a shot that forces him out of a game. It always happens to Tulane QBs. Daniels has to be ready to play. He should get plenty of reps th...

It's long overdue for this coaching staff to be shaken up. What a shame that one of the best players in the program's history played on a below .500 team her senior year. No help!

So overmatched in this game. Dunleavy has to step it up recruiting. We need a quality big man and a point guard. No more projects. Ajang is so raw. I’m not buying that Frazier is a first round draft pick either.

What AC did is deplorable, selfish. No excuse! I hope he can rebuild his life and career. I remember Team Cannizaro burning bridges with Tulane when he didn't get the job. I hope fences can be mended. Dannen's stock went up a notch with his judgement. His hires have to start producing winning seasons.

Terrible officiating on both sides. Reynolds missed two key free throws in the last minute and then was mugged under the basket as time expired. Lack of depth was the killer. Dunleavy has to recruit guys who are ready to play major college basketball. No more projects. Tulane was dead when you have ...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

I love this class especially on the defensive side. We really loaded up with talent on the D-line and secondary. The only negative for this recruiting cycle was the Lindsey Scott drama. Imagine what kind of team we can have with three consecutive recruiting classes of at least this caliber. I also w...
