Re: Late c/o 2024 commit - QB Dagan Bruno of John Curtis
I've heard in my area from a Tulane Grad saying we are getting another Bama wideout soon on scholarship. Big ole boy who can freaking fly, watched him in high school a few years back. Hayden Neighbors, it is one of Billy Neighbors grandsons. They are a football family filled with studs. Be on the l...

Re: Jared Small
Do you know where he plays best? Inside? Outside? Beyond Jesus Machado and Tyler Grubbs, who do we even have at LB with much experience? He's on the smaller side so I think he would be more of an outside (coverage) backer. Corey Platt has played very serviceable when given the opportunity this past...

Re: Jared Small
We’ve lost very few under Fritz. Lost very few to injury? If that's what you meant I hear ya. That's more of a compliment to the strength and conditioning coaches keeping these guys in tip top shape. I thought their would be more discussion over this guy considering he was a day 1 LSU starting line...

Jared Small
He just showed up on the updated summer roster 2 weeks ago. This guy has a really interesting back story. Former walk on turned scholarship player at LSU who was all set to be the starting linebacker in 2021 before suffering a season ending injury during the week of preparation for the opener to UCL...

Re: Many New Coaches announced today !
I'll say this, I'm intrigued by what Svobdaley (Sp?) Could bring to the table. Honestly, I think all the new coaches look intriguing. The big question I have is who is being demoted? We just hired 5 coaches for 3 openings. I may only have a Holy Cross education but that don't add up.

Re: Potential Alabama Transfer- Kyle Edwards
Update on this. Kyle Edwards committed to Southeastern tonight per his Instagram page. He was hurt that Tulane didn't have a spot for him like he was told back in the spring. I promise you he didn't commit to Southeastern due to lack of options. He committed their because it's the shortest drive to ...

Re: Memphis Beats Tulane 33-28
In his post game interview Fritz was asked if he was going to consider staff changes. His answer was no. He added he just wanted to find ways to make them better coaches. If that is true their will be a high number of players hitting the portal. That would be the typical Tulane way. To sit on their...

Re: Lines Closes Memphis 5.5 pts. > Tulane
I think it's a real possibility that he goes Pro. He has been here for 3 years so he would be eligible under the NCAA rules. The guy would be a Top 3 rounds pick in my opinion. He's a special player.

Re: QB position next season
I rarely ever pin the blame of a loss on a single player but last night Michael Pratt blew me away with his mistakes. Both interceptions he threw were awful passes that should never have been thrown. His under throw to Toles would have been a sure touchdown had he lead him. Then he over threw an ope...

Re: Do you forgive WF, TD and MF with a win over Cincinnati?
It would be a miracle of miracles for us to win this game. Even with a win (don't get me wrong, I would be ecstatic and it would instantly become my favorite Tulane memory of all time) it doesn't excuse how we got here and the mediocrity up to this year. LSU just fired Orgeron after he beat Florida....

Re: Facilities
Well, I know this is my “Pipe Dream” I would love to see a joint press conference consisting of the Tulane BOA, Fitts and Dannen explaining either: The commitment and a campaign to build an IPF and Athletics Bldg Or The reasons why they Won’t build an IPF and Athletics Bldg. Dannen should be doing ...

All this time I thought this guy gbgreenie was a troll and now I realize he is the same guy from the Tulane football alliance Facebook page. Going around calling the few fans that are still left the problem. He is pretty much the poster child of the culture we need to root out to ever become success...

Re: Houston whips Tulane 40-22
There is a small margin of error to win at Tulane and there always will be.” Per Fitz interview last night…hmmm I heard Steve Barrios say that a few times last night in the Pre and post game dialogues. I said to my Dad and brother "If that isn't the fanciest way of saying "We suck" t...

Re: Tulane SEC Championship Helmets for Ole Miss
I'm with Bicoastalwave on this one. No publicity is bad publicity. I don't think I've ever seen the Tulane football account go so viral as it has. This was a flex move and most people see it as a form of trash talk with our SEC opponent and they respect it. If anything this serves as a history lesso...

Re: 2:16 left in the 4th 1st & 10
On 3rd and 10 the pocket collapsed on Pratt too quickly. Had he had an additional second he would have saw Cam Carrol streaking right to left 8 yards up the field with no one else in the TV frame. Could have been some good yardage or possibly a first down. Instead Pratt got sacked for 3 yards which ...

Re: FB Transfer Portal
@Golfnut69, I think you're right in that his eligibility clock continues clicking but considering last year was free year anyway it kind of becomes a wash. Say he were to play in 2022 he would still be a sophomore. The scholarship availability apparently had everything to do with the new players rul...

Re: FB Transfer Portal
Just heard today that Kyle is in fact enrolled at Delgado for the fall and will be starting school this week. He also has a job. Suffice to say he will be waiting for 2022. I think this is the best scenario for us. If scholarship availability was the problem it shall be not be come this spring. Keep...

Going to try an stay from the hot topics of the moment and talk strictly football. He went through almost all the transfers (Brumfield, Wyatt, Dorceus, Rakestraw, ...

Re: FB Transfer Portal
Just updating on the situation with Kyle Edwards. He's heard from many other teams (Baylor, La Tech, etc) about having a spot for him this year. He's yet to make a decision with any of these schools because the reason I hear he left Alabama was to come home. Only one school is home. Feeling optimist...
