Re: AAC Baseball Tourney Thread

As per Guerry Smith UCF will be throwing Chris Williams. He threw for them last Tuesday. The last two years he had been really good. He had ERA's of 2.65 and 2.81. Almost at 6.00 this year but threw well against us in game two of our series a few weeks ago. We have Roper going on 4 days rest after t...

AAC story:

Can't believe Haskin didn't get Newcomer of the Year. He's a five tool player. What a joke.

Hoese POY, Others Honored

Kody is the AAC Player of the year. Roper, Haskin and Niemann made 2nd team AAC. Congrats to all. Good luck to Kody and Huddie on getting the National Awards.

Re: Wave lands deep snapper

Actually D that part of the operation has been smoothed out since we got Eatherly. As we talked about elsewhere the PK is still an issue. I consider all three a unit. Until we consistently make anything under 40 yards, and are 60% or better from 41-55, the unit is not getting the job done. The last...

Re: CFN's 2019 Tulane preview

Our OC did say that and I'm still wondering where he got that from. I do think our return teams could be good with some of the players we now have especially Jones and McCleskey. Our coverage units could be too based on added athleticism. But our PK is still below average and I was being sarcastic a...

Re: CFN's 2019 Tulane preview

Wonder if he knows something we don't when he said we had good kickers. Our punter should turn out to be good once he becomes consistent but PK is still a big problem.

Re: CFN's 2019 Tulane preview

They just dont understand or take into accounf how bad our OC has been for two years. Hall (even if we’re being conservative) leads our offense & team to 7-9 wins, book it. We cut down on the games we blow to bad teams (smu) and pull off a couple more upsets. Agree. With all the playmakers this off...

Re: 2019-2020 Men’s Basketball Recruiting

Nic Thomas making a step down to play at Tulane. Tulane finished with an RPI of 292. Norfolk State was 19-14, lost in the championship game of their conf, just missing an NCAA trip, and beat Alabama in the first round of the NIT. Regardless who they had on their schedule, it seems they were a bette...

Sehic out, Daniels In?

Sehic no longer listed on the roster but Daniels is:

Could just be a clerical error but who knows.

Re: AAC Tourney Thread

We play UCF Tuesday night. The game will probably start between 7 and 7:30. Tough opening game. UCF beat us 2 out of 3 at Turchin. It can be watched on the AAC site. Roper will start on four days rest. He threw 57 pitches on Thursday so he should be good to go. Are you projecting 7-7:30 CDT? The ti...

Re: 2020 football recruiting

Curtis is a system type program. They also hold kids back a year to give them an advantage. They don't really produce a lot of D-1 players. The one's they do put out usually go to high profile schools. They have tried to steer their lesser players to us over the years. Maybe this staff can change th...

Re: Wave lands Justin Ibieta QB!!!!

TPS do you know if he’s going to play baseball? Not sure but I’d think so. Being a pitcher is a lot easier to play two sports then being an everyday position player. We’ve have many successful two sport athletes over the years. Justin could be the next one for sure. One of my all-time favorites was...

Another typical game from this season. Looks like we were playing a complete game and then we allow them to make it close.

Glad to see Solesky have his best outing of the year.

Re: UCONN Series

So it all comes down to UCF-Houston tonight. A UCF win means we finish third, and end up in a bracket of Cinn, Tulane, UCF, Memphis. We have a shot there. A UCF loss means we finish fourth, and end up in a bracket of ECU, Tulane, UConn, Wichita St. A lot tougher. An added bonus with a UCF win is th...
