Re: SMU Game 2 Thread

It's very obvious that MD has been paying closer attention to defense at practice. I thought that was our best defensive performance this season considering the opponent. I've watched SMU several times this year. They have a knack for hitting tough shots. They made some against really good defense. ...

Re: Houston Game Thread

Perry felt the same way about getting out of fogelman as would any big time coach. I personally don't believe it's a hinderance to recruiting. If it rocks , it's a players gym and rockin fogelman energizes the players like a big empty arena cant. Move that Houston game to SKC and it's the same 2200 ...

Re: Houston Game Thread

In response to Frazier’s ejection, I’m pretty positive I saw Cornish walk over to Dunleavy and tell him to get Frazier out the game after the 1st technical. I thought the game was very well coached, but in high school and college you need to get a guy who gets a technical out the game for awhile if...

It was definitely better than the first half but that’s not saying much.

Houston had 2 offensive rebounds in the 2nd half.

Re: Houston Game Thread

Frazier having a horrible night. Very disappointed that Frazier continued to run his mouth and suffered the ejection. That could have lost the game. In any case, GREAT WIN and ROLL WAVE! Let's go beat SMU at their house! Looked like a chicken s*** call . You're telling me players don't talk? It's n...

Great game! So, so very important to send an arena full of people home happy. Cornish, Daniels, Cam, Ray, sehic all great and Frazier having an off night shooting , came up with some big time assists . Great team win.

Re: Houston Game Thread

Playing much tougher 2nd half. Good to see but it won't matter if we can't hit free throws

Re: Houston Game Thread

Defensive rebounding is embarrassing. Play by play guy "it's not even fair". If we could rebound and shoot free throws we'd be up 20. Otherwise playing a really good game. Cornish is giving us something. Quiet night for Marvelous Melvin. If he can blow up we can get a nice win tonight.

Now LS is tweeting pooka for all to see and speculate over. I think he's enjoying the hell out of this process. Why go to school tomorrow? Just spend the rest of the winter in Cabo or something and pick a school next summer . :D

Re: Final: UCONN 67, Tulane 57

Players. I love Frazier and Reynolds. But there aren't any players like Carlin Hartman, rayshard Allen or ledaryl billingsley that can go in the post and hammer people, rebound, move bodies around , oh and put the ball in the bucket while they're at it. MD was lamenting after the Memphis game that t...

Re: Football Recruiting 2019 and beyond

Also factor in Brantley , a pure option guy, either being encouraged to leave or not seeing himself fitting, seems something is up. I'm all for the Sam Houston fritz offense myself. It's possible Brantley was a stop gap recruit while WF was still getting his feet wet down here. Either way, these are...
