+1 (also the fact that TU was down by 26 and fought hard to overecome the gap in 2nd half at the Tiger's den).

Re: Chris Scelfo

I don't understand the need to repeatedly bash Scelfo. I would have preferred Rich Rod, but that was no fault of Scelfos. I also knew that the punting on third down was a symptom of a coach that needed to be replaced. But Scelfo did a lot of good things at Tulane. He left and still is the second mo...

Re: Tulane and Notre Dame

Would love to have ND back on the FB schedule. Still remember the radio games in the 70's with Big Charlie Hall being in the Irish's face all day in Indy and the 60's game at Tulane stadium with a bad TU team that still brought out 41,000 Catholics for the night game. (wink) Your memory may be gett...

In two short years UCF went from 0-12 to 12-0! Well played and coaching does make a difference.

Tulane has produced 2-3 national men's NCAA single champions also if memory serves. Loved Coach Kline and Schumacher in the years leading up to Katrina.

Re: Tulane embarrassed at Georgia State 70-59

That GS Atlanta Gym cast a "hoodoo spell" on our guys as soon as they entered the day before and the final score reflected the shoot around practice the day before. Even Graf commented on the fact that the goals were hung in a certain way and the gym colors and lighting had already had a w...

Re: Final call

For those who want to express their feelings, SMU basketball comes to town in six weeks. A nice round of boos when they get announced would be great and a raucous home crowd would be even better. Like the idea but kinda more the refs fault than the FB or BB SMU players. Hard for most opposing teams...

Re: Final call

Bottom line is coaches did not give team best chance to win with that last play call. They could have possibly gotten 3 plays off with quick passes on first and second down. C'mon, they called a perfect pass play with a wide open receiver and the pass was off the mark. You are correct about that. I...

LEE carries Nebraska to 34-14 (2nd half) victory but lose the 60 minute battle 56-44 to mighty Penn State! Nebraska's Tanner Lee returned from "concussion protocol" to complete 26 of 41 passes for 399 yards and three touchdowns. Morgan Stanley Jr. caught seven passes for 185 yards and a to...
