Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick
We still don't really know if Frazier is playing 100% from his injury.
I would have picked Melvin for 1st team AAC over Gray (though I love Gray's style of play too).

Re: Matt Forte
I always thought of Brister as a journeyman QB, but looking at his stats, he had longevity. Funny thing: His total passing yardage in the NFL is almost identical to Forte's yards from scrimmage. Heck, he was a jouneyman before he even got to the NFL; signed with Alabama in football but then signed ...

Re: Cincy Wipes Out The Wave 78-49
This league and TU is about the time and date of match ups as Wichita State beat Cincy twice and TU played one of their best all -around games against WS losing by 6-7 points. I do think when all is said and done though that the Bearcats will be the champs of AAC and get to go far into the NCAA tour...

1943 and 1951 seemed to be "the golden years" for getting TU players drafted into the pros.

Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick
Melvin hints at going pro in his latest tweet. https://twitter.com/melvinjrrr/status/967539296965152768 Has Tulane had any first round NBA picks other than John Williams? What round did "The Cutt" go in? Johnny Arthurs? Phil Hicks? anyone else? Tulane has never had a 1st round basketball pick. Hot ...

What! No love for Tulane at Ohio State? (That is the highest rated opponent any AAC team plays in 2018).

Toe to Toe with an elite NCAA team at their house and out played them (thank you 2nd half), according to the box stats. TU may make an AAC tourney run yet!

Re: Wright State Series
Love this Jewett quote (a great endorsement on how this year will be quite different than last if it holds true): "I just like this group and our dugout. It's calm. It's cool. It's collected. It's spirited. It is understanding that we are all in this together," Jewett said. "We are just talking abou...

Williams of ECU shooting light ou and Frzazier with limited minutes or did not play (could not watch or listen to game), was the tale of the tape. Hope th teams can bring it to the Tigers this Sunday.

Re: Wave robbed in Tulsa 91-89
It was Galic on the box out. To me the question on the last inbounds play was having Daniels passing it in. We only had three scholarship players in at that point. One of the WO's should have thrown it in. Thanks. Yes, Galic it was. Good BB pedigree in the family of this young man: Personal: Parent...

Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick
It's been 20 years since a Tulane basketball player had any sort of draft buzz. Jerald Honeycutt would've been a surefire lottery pick today being a stretch 4 that can shoot 3s. He would've been a 1-and-done player. Frazier should do well in predraft camps and individual workouts. He's a great athl...

Re: Wave robbed in Tulsa 91-89
Unbelievable effort by the team and coaches. As I watched the game I just kept saying the basketball gods will get these kids this win,and damn if they didn’t. Only one glitch, even the basketball gods can’t overcome the officials. Reynolds should have been at the foul line needing only 1 of 2 for ...

With Faulk out for funeral, Tanner had his chances with more series given him than the others. The fumble and interception (both blantey not his fault), will probably cost him any good press from the Senior Bowl. lNORTH Passing C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT Josh Allen 9/13 158 12.2 2 0 Tanner Lee 8/19 86 4.5...

Re: Tanner Lee
The "experts" at the NFL network were talking about the workouts leading up to today's game. They discussed 5 QBs and didn't mention Tanner Lee. Said the QB from Western Kentucky looked impressive, among other comments. But having been at practice all week, I was surprised they didn't mention Tanne...

Re: Houston Game Thread
I'm watching on the DVR as I did last night after refereeing two hockey games. There's plenty of empty seats, unless there's people dressed as chairbacks. The announced crowd was 2500, "official capacity" is 4100, though most of us know it's really about 3500. So the place was roughly 60-70% full, ...
