I know chain gain x man was working the scrimmage this morning. Maybe he can give us some tips as to how it went.

Re: How Many Regular Season Games Will Tulane Win?

6-6. Wins vs ,Nicholls St., UAB, Cincy, SMU, Tulsa and ECU.

Anything better than 6-6 will definitely include a W vs Wake Forest.

TIEBREAKER: 0's across the board, except he gets -2 yards rushing by taking a knee in a game.

Re: LSU QB Exodus

Cuillette was recruited to run an NFL style O, so he did not fit into Fritz's system..but then again how hard can it be...catch the ball from the center, hand the ball to someone running forward or laterally, on occasion throw the ball to a member of the same team who is open...I mean this in not "...

This really sucks. And the article says that WR Kevin Ledee is out for the season as well due to injury. I know its a deep position, but we're not talented enough to lose players.

Re: Football Recruiting -- 2019

247 changed their layout a bit, and I thought the bottom of this page was pretty interesting. It has a list of the all-time top recruits for Tulane. I'm assuming this just goes back to when 247 started rating, but what I see as significant is the #2, the #3 and the #4 highest recruits were all in th...

Re: Tanner Lee

Tanner was playing with the 3rd team backup lineman. He looked ok when he had time. However its hard to take away anything good tonight. He needs to work on feeling the pressure better. He doesn’t step up instead stays back and gets sacked too much. His throws were high. He will look better if he p...

Re: Saw this coming when we left the Dome LSU in NOLA

The Dome is for rent, if we want to play a game there we just have to pay the same rent as LSU or ULL. Why would we do that. For other reasons (cancellation of baseball series) we should either collect our $750k or our home football game owed by LSU for cancelling the football series. Also should c...

Re: Saw this coming when we left the Dome LSU in NOLA

Cajuns and Mississippi State open up their seasons next year in the Dome, 31 August. Should be a decent crowd, especially if Napier has a good year this year. :lolgreen: What's so funny.......the decent crowd part or Napier having a good season? The Napier part is funny. The decent crowd part will ...

Former Wave commit Kendall Busey Jr. is leaving Texas A&M and transferring to Nicholl's State where he will be eligible to play immediately.

From Newman to Harvard On The Bayou.

Re: Line Opens Wake Forest 7.5 pts. > Wave

I think people are taking "ball control" to mean "run, run, run" like Army or Navy. I don't take it that way at all. We need to be balanced, but we also can't take unnecessary chances and end up with quick 3 and outs. That means staying ahead of the chains, regardless of how that's accomplished. If it...

Just wondering, this is the same OC and Wake Forest team that scored "7" whole points on us just 24 games ago? Ha! And with only 10 first downs and a measly 175 yards of total offense... Probably because we ran the ball 67% of the time and controlled the clock. Earned us a whopping 3 points... Yeah...

Re: OSU Coach on Leave

Even if Urban Meyer is fired the day before we play them, I'd still be inclined to lay the points. This doesn't change the roster, and OSU is not going to fire the whole staff this close to the start of the season. Then again, maybe they'll pay us the $1.5 million and cancel their season. Who knows...

There's a possibility this thing gets really messy. I was listening to Steve Gorman on the radio this afternoon, and they were discussing it. Seems that the wife that was beaten sent out texts in 2015 to all the wives of the coaches on the staff, informing them of what was going on, including photos...

So we catch Ohio State the week after a road game at TCU, and a week before they open Big Ten play on the road at Penn State. They could easily lose the TCU game, which would mean they'd take it out on us. Or, they could beat TCU, and be looking past us to the Penn State game and we catch them unawa...

I don't pay attention to any of the early commitments. It's interesting in that it gives insight as to who the coaches are talking to and what level of player is actually willing to listen. Other than that, it's just background noise of 18-year-olds spouting off. Keep in mind that these "early" com...
